To start of the New Year right, the first day of 2020 is seeing the release of a three song EP titled, From the Heart. This EP is available for free on all major platforms like Bancamp, iTunes, Spotify, Youtube, and more.
But, enough of that… Hope you enjoy the new release as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Like any release I do, this thing will be getting plastered all over town and the surrounding area at local music stores, coffee shops, and the like. With that, the promotion poster has already been created and printed. Obviously, it hasn’t gotten put up around town yet seeing as to how it’s 9-AM on the day of the release. But still, I’ve got them ready and putting them up will likely be on the agenda for this coming weekend.
This is how the poster turned out.
As for the album artwork, credit for the cover photography goes to Lisa Fotios. Lisa was very generous for letting me use her photography for the album cover. Although I am personally no longer on Instagram, if you still use it you can see some of Lisa’s work over there by clicking here.
Thanks for listening. And here’s to hoping you have a wonderful New Year. Start the year of right. Go download this FREE EP!

Other than doing a little bit of the ol’ grass roots promotion, I think the 2020 year will be a year of working on a full length indie rock, post-hardcore record. I look forward to the writing and recording sessions to come in 2020.
Okay, I felt obligated to share this one.
I got my haircut today… and while I was waiting my turn I looked up at the poster on the wall and noticed something. Let’s face it. If you are going to have a person pose for a photo and you want him to look the most natural, you might as well have him doing exactly what you would expect… looking down at his hand as if looking at a phone.
I mean, man… just look at that natural pose.
That’s what I call a naturally born modelling talent right there.
I mean, come on. That’s pretty funny.
I don’t even want to know how many man hours I have put into updating this website layout now that I have a new band member and an upcoming full length album to pitch to labels soon. I spent the last three or four nights staying up “waaaayyyy” past my normal bed time getting this thing laid out to completion.
But, it is finally done. And now, with that phase of the new release completed, I can get back to doing the final edits and mix-down for the upcoming release. Since today is Sunday, August the 4th… I think I will be ready to pitch to labels by Sunday the 18th at the latest.
Fingers crossed of course.
This week Russell and I took a few photos to prep the website for a revamp while also having a few extra to put together with the EPK packet that we plan to put together soon. This EPK will be used to pitch the upcoming album to a few different record labels.
But anyhow, with no further ado… here are the few photos that I’ve taken the time to actually edit.
Well, we finished tracking for the new full length album. I am super excited, because we finished several weeks earlier than I expected too. Not only was today a recording session, but a writing one as well. Today we wrote and recorded lyrics off the cuff. And I have to say, Russell came though. Because today’s lyrics are probably my favorite ones on the album.
I plan to spend the next few weeks doing edits and a final mix down on everything.
Other than all of the post edit and mastering (which I am still a total newb at), we are getting ready to start pitching to labels soon. Album artwork is done. Recording is done. Between now and post production finals we plan to get some promo photos around town to be sure we look the part.
Yeah, you know. lol
Anyway, getting this home studio up and running has been a lot of fun. I’ve very happy to have gotten it off the ground. Just wondering why I waited so long to do it.
