Now that the album is on the table, what next? With the album complete it’s time for the real work to begin. Although I have heard from a few labels positively, and a few labels negatively, the goal is to still work toward finding representation for not only this album, but for future releases as well. Alongside doing this, in the coming months Russell and I will be hitting the promotion front for the new release pretty hard. I will be getting some posters and flyers printed. We will be posting those all over town in our own region (obviously). But, we will take it a step further than that by reaching out to some of the contacts I still have from my once long time ago touring days in an effort to spread the flyers and posters into other States.

While we are doing this we will continue to send the album out to labels hoping that someone will take an interest in our studio project. I will also be hitting promotion pretty hard by getting flyers into the hands of bands out there that I know who are still touring regularly.

So, just because we posted the album doesn’t mean that the work is done. Not hardly. We have a lot to do. And we’re working on it.

Once the flyers and posters are made and printed, I will be sure to post about it so that you can get a look at how they turned out.

As for the studio, doing this large of a project less than a year into owning the studio equipment has been a real eye opener for me as a newbie behind the helm of a music producer.

Although I have learned a lot, I will be the first to admit I still have a lot to learn. I’ve already dreaming up ideas for the next project that Russell and I start on in the future. I am already thinking of easier ways to do things. Faster ways to set things up. How to pre-stage better so that my mastering stage is easier. The list goes on and on…

But, that’s the fun of it. Not only jamming out, writing music, recording and releasing… but the learning and growing part too. There is only one direction to go from here with the quality of what I produce… and that’s up.

This new album has been a blast to work on. And, if you haven’t downloaded your copy for free yet, be sure to do so.
